Dermot OBrien’s company, Island Realty, won the International Property Award for best real estate agent in Florida. Catering to a luxury market, OBrien has cleared nearly $150 million in sales since 2010. He intends to continue marketing properties — and the brokerage itself — in ways that differentiate the company from its competitors.

After graduating from Kellogg with a focus in marketing and finance, Steve Hersh worked at Procter & Gamble, then at Cadbury Schweppes as a brand manager. Thanks to his Kellogg marketing education and later CPG experience, he set out to start his own brand in the very competitive beverage category. Steve now runs Grown-up Sodas, a line of 100 percent natural sodas that are lower in sugar and made from real juices and natural extracts.
