Alumni Club of Atlanta
The Atlanta club joined with alumni from peer schools to bring noted civil rights advocate Andrew Young (second from left) to a recent Breakfast Speaker Series. Mr. Young is a former U.S. congressman and mayor of Atlanta and served as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during President Carter's administration. Kellogg alumni pictured with Mr. Young are Laurie Burkland Waller '00 (far left) and Chris Tomseth '98 (third from right).

Alumni Club of Atlanta

It has been an exciting time for the Kellogg Alumni Club of Atlanta. Our highly successful Breakfast Speaker Series has continued throughout the season featuring notable speakers such as Ambassador Andrew Young, as well as an entrepreneurship panel highlighting local leaders in retail, financial services and communications, including Spanx founder Sara Blakely. An upcoming event will spotlight Kellogg alum Calvin Johnston '95, CEO of Russell Athletic.

In addition to attending our monthly happy hours, Kellogg alumni were recently invited to a scotch tasting social event to welcome 2005 graduates to Atlanta. Later this season, we look forward to a reception to welcome and congratulate recently admitted Kellogg candidates.

Check the KAC of Atlanta Web site (https://kelloggalumni.northwestern.edu/Clubs/atlanta/) for the latest schedule of events, and special thanks to those who participated in our January club planning event. As always, if you have ideas for the club or want to help, please get in touch!
