EMP-23

I, Doug Berg (your class representative) have joined NeighborCare Inc. as vice president, regional controller. NeighborCare, headquartered in Baltimore, is one of the largest providers of pharmacy services to the long-term care market. I am based in Naperville, Ill., and cover a territory from Michigan down to Texas and across to the West Coast.

Actually, I've already run into a fellow classmate in my travels with the company — Mike Dybas — at the Baltimore airport. As luck would have it, we were assigned seats next to each other all the way back home. How does the computer know to do that? Amazing.

I had a Mike Fitzgerald sighting too. Mike has one-upped us all with the claim that he has a son-in-law he mentored (well, sort of) through the EMP program. What a smart daughter you have, Mike!

I checked in with Eric Steele. He does technology consulting for law firms and, on the side, is a budding sculptor and carpenter. Also, I hear that Karen Kizer is finally in control of her own time, given her retirement a bit ago from a long career at Bank One.
