Sixth Edition
The official textbook for this course is the seventh edition of Allen, Brealey, and Myers. However, most of the chapter numbers in
Brealey and Myers' Principles of Corporate
Finance are the same for the sixth edition -- at least for the chapters I
have assigned. The page numbers, however, have changed. Thus you are welcome to
use your sixth edition books if you make the following changes to the syllabus:
- Lecture 2: only Chapter 9.
- Lecture 3: Chapter 28.
- Lecture 4: Chapter 20 (pages
586-596).
- Lecture 5: Chapter 20 (pages
596-609).
- Lecture 6: Chapter 21.
- Lecture 9: Chapter 18 (pages
499-510) and Chapter 19.
- Lecture 10: Chapter 18 (pages
510-521).
- Lecture 11: No reading in BM.
- Lecture 13: Chapter 26.
- Lecture 14: Chapter 22.
- Lecture 16: No reading in BM.
