DigiStrat is a multi-player game that places players in the role of the Chief Strategy Officer for a digital services provider. Providers compete in the market for digital services. They market wireless data, wired data, connected home services and streaming video content to consumers. They also market wireless data, wired data, cloud services and IoT services to businesses. Players aim to maximize subscriber market share, average revenue per customer, customer satisfaction (NPS), service quality and cash flow. They make decisions on pricing decisions, network infrastructure investment, service development, backend infrastructure, customer care and marketing/sales. Players also participate in a live auction for 5G wireless spectrum that allows them to launch the next generation of 5G wireless services. The DigiStrat game is designed to be a highly realistic simulation of the complex and contemporary digital services market and it teaches players how to compete and win in subscription-based technology markets.
