Hooria Jazaieri is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Management & Organizations and Marketing Departments at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She received her PhD in Social Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and her BS in Psychology from the University of Washington. Outside of academia, Hooria has professional work experience in a variety of industries including tech, consulting, and mental health.
Hooria's research interests include personal reputation, compassionate leadership, emotion, emotion regulation, and team chemistry. At Kellogg, she is examining how reputational information is stored and transmitted in various contexts and social networks. She takes a multi-method approach to her research ranging from laboratory and online experiments to field studies and interventions. Her numerous publications have appeared in leading scientific journals.
