Julia D. Hur is a doctoral candidate at Kellogg School of Management. Her research explores motivation and goal pursuits in both individual and organizational levels. She examines how individuals' motivation and cognition are shaped by environmental factors, including rewards, social comparison, and organizational decisions, employing a multimethod approach with field studies, laboratory experiments, and archival data. Her work has been published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Consumer Research, and the Academy of Management Proceedings.
