Birju has experience building product, engineering, data science, customer support, marketing, and sales organizations from scratch. He has a unique ability to launch products globally and can manage the complex fast paced growth of such products.

Professionally, Birju joined Uber in 2017 and leads the sensing and inference research group in charge of all sensor data at Uber. Sensor data at Uber includes mobile sensors like location, accelerometers, gyroscopes, video technologies, 3rd party road sensors, and a variety of other sensors. In a short 3 months,
Birju joined The Climate Corporation in 2015 and led the product design and development efforts across Climate’s Yield Analysis and Machine Data platform before becoming an advisor on machine learning.
Prior to joining The Climate Corporation, Birju worked at the labs of a large search engine company, where he worked on several high-profile products.
Birju has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Business & a B.S in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University.
