Cybersecurity has evolved from being strictly an IT concern to become a key strategic consideration for organizations. As the digital economy grows and organizations migrate to the cloud, cybersecurity risks continue to increase.
As a result, non-technical senior leaders must take a bigger role in developing and implementing strategies to address these challenges. Understanding current and emerging risks, knowing how to ask the right questions of your teams and leading the overall cybersecurity strategy are essential skills for today's senior leaders and board members.
Cybersecurity Essentials for Leaders is a new Kellogg Executive Education program led by Professor Mike Rogers, U.S. Navy Admiral (ret.), that draws on his experience as Commander, U.S. Cyber Command and Director at the National Security Agency, where he addressed cybersecurity threats at the highest levels across the nation and the world.
This program will provide you with the tools and insights needed to understand the importance of cybersecurity for your organization and your role as a leader in implementing an effective cyber risk mitigation strategy.
You’ll walk away with frameworks you can use to assess current risks to your organization and to identify and address gaps in your strategy. In addition, you will be able to better communicate objectives and concerns with your IT and cybersecurity leaders, board members and other stakeholders.
