The Goldie Initiative is pleased to announce its incoming cohort of Goldie Scholars for the 2017-18 academic year. Goldie B. Wolfe Miller, a commercial real estate broker and entrepreneur, founded the Goldie Initiative. Its mission is to prepare women for senior leadership roles in all sectors of CRE. The Goldie Initiative does this by providing scholarship support for graduate study, executive mentorship, leadership development programming, and networking opportunities for women with high potential who are committed to becoming leaders in the real estate industry.

The Goldie Initiative offers a prestigious leadership program designed to develop the next generation of women executives in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. Goldie Scholars are women pursuing graduate-level studies in business with a focus on real estate. The types of degrees our graduates earn include but are not limited to Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Science in Real Estate (MSRE). Founded in 2007, The Goldie Initiative has assisted over 60 scholars at Roosevelt University’s Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business.

The 2017-18 Scholar cohort received the most applications on record since the organization became an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit. Selected scholars include students new to The Goldie Initiative as well as renewing scholars, who are returning to the program while they are still pursuing graduate studies.
