The Kellogg Real Estate Center will be presenting two outstanding events in 2016. First on Thursday, February 11, 2016, the ninth annual Distinguished Alumni Panel will take place at Wieboldt Hall, 340 E. Superior in Chicago at 5:15 pm.

This year’s topic is “Real Estate Entrepreneurship-When to Take the Plunge?”

The Panel will be moderated by Jonathan Glick (’04) of Incubation Capital Partners and the panelists are: Scott Goodman (’84) of Sterling Bay, Seth Singerman (’05) of Singerman Real Estate, and Kellogg Lecturer of Real Estate, Bill Bennett (’06) of Level Office. It is not often such a stellar group of real estate entrepreneurs come together to share their insights and experiences. Registration is available here.

Then, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, our annual Real Estate Conference and Venture Competition will be combined for the first time. The Real Estate Conference will feature a capital markets update and an adaptive re-use industry panel, as well as a dynamic keynote speaker. The Real Estate Venture Competition showcases MBA students from top business schools pitching real estate venture ideas to a preliminary investment committee of private equity investors. The four best teams from the preliminary round will present to a high-profile panel of judges selected each year from our Judges Consortium - a pre-identified all-star group of industry professionals. The winning team will receive cash and in kind prizes valued at $100,000.

Registration for this event will be open soon. Please look for an announcement in your email in the coming weeks.
