2013 Kellogg Africa Business Conference

The Kellogg School of Management is extremely proud to host its fourth Africa Business Conference themed, iAfrica: Innovation in Africa’s Emerging Industries. On April 20th 2013, we cordially invite you to join us for thought-provoking dialogue examining budding African industries, which are ripe for investment and poised to fuel growth on the continent in the coming decade.

The Kellogg Africa Business Conference has become one of the most anticipated student-led conferences at Kellogg, as well as one of the premier Africa Business Conferences amongst top business schools around the world. It provides a forum for interactive learning as it brings thought and policy leaders together with students to exchange ideas and offer fresh perspectives on the opportunities in Africa.

Following the success of the 2012 Kellogg Africa Business Conference, which featured H.E Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria, as the keynote speaker, the 2013 conference promises to build on last year’s success and create an environment for even more engaging, collaborative and innovative discussions.

According to the McKinsey Global Institute’s report, “Lions on the Move (June 2010)”, four groups of industries (consumer, resources, agriculture and infrastructure) could together be worth $2.6 trillion in annual revenue by 2020. By sourcing experts on three of these four vital industries, we hope to shed light on the burgeoning economic activity, which today affirms the continent as the fastest growing region in the world. We sincerely look forward to engaging with you on Saturday, April 20th at the James L. Allen Center in Evanston, Illinois.
