Company Presentations

Company presentations offer an opportunity to showcase the opportunities and career paths available to MBA students at your company. Each company is allocated an hour for a planned presentation and networking.

At any given time, multiple presentations can take place. The Employer Relations Team strives to prevent competing companies (same industry/function) from presenting at the same time.

Logistics of company presentations:
  • Presentations, once scheduled, are advertised on the Kellogg Calendar as well as the Career Management System.
  • Lunch presentations are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 12:15 p.m.
  • Evening presentations are scheduled, Mondays through Thursdays at 5:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
    • 5:15 p.m. presentations can be held on- or off-campus
    • 7:00 p.m. presentations take place off-campus
    • 5:15 p.m. presentations will not be held on the evenings when Kellogg Networking Nights occur
  • For off-site presentations, companies must arrange, cancel or change their events with the appropriate facility contact person after confirming a date and time with your Industry Relationship Manager.
  • Catering is handled by the company. The CMC will supply a space for food set-up for on-campus presentations. When choosing your food, please remember to include vegetarian options.
  • When requesting presentation dates, please consider your preferred interview dates and the corresponding student application deadlines below.
  • Due to a late academic start date, we strongly encourage companies to consider attending a 2nd year Kellogg Networking Night in lieu of a formal company presentation.
    • Companies who had less than a certain number of students attend their 2nd year presentation last fall will only be booked for a corporate presentation if space permits.

Kellogg Networking Nights

Kellogg Networking Nights (KNNs) offer a valuable alternative to formal corporate presentations. These events are recommended for companies who want to engage with a wide audience of students or who are new to Kellogg recruiting.

  • Multi-Industry / Function event held in the Global Hub
  • Each company will have a cocktail table labeled with the organization name
  • Students are provided with a packet containing company/role information supplied by the participating employers
  • Each company will submit a $200 registration fee, which covers food, beer/wine and company signage for tables

2020 KNN Dates:

Second-Year Only KNN -Monday, September 21

First-Year and Second-Year KNN - Monday, October 5

Plaza Hours

Plaza Hours offer companies a way to extend brand presence on-campus and informally meet with students. Kellogg provides each company with one six-foot table in a central location of the Global Hub, inviting “drop-in” conversations with students who visit your table.

Coffee Chats

Coffee chats are individual or small group meetings between students and company reps. Students rate this as a very popular way to interact with companies and learn about the organization and employment opportunities. Important coffee chat details include:
  • Coffee chats held in the Global Hub will be at CMC-assigned tables on the 2nd floor. We will provide signage and a schedule. We are not able to provide interview rooms for these events.
  • Companies are able to see the list of registered students through the CMS.
  • The system will facilitate open signups only. If you plan to invite specific candidates, please work with clubs to publicize your opportunity, and do not submit a request through the CMS.
  • If you plan to hold coffee chats on multiple days, or for functions you'd like to keep separate, please submit a separate request for each day and/or function.
  • Student Process:
    • Sign-ups will start at 8:00 a.m. Central time on Mondays and Thursdays.
    • Students will have until 7:00 a.m. one business day before the coffee chats to cancel their slot or swap times with another student.
