Kellogg can facilitate an interview experience that best connects your organization with Kellogg talent, whether that is on or off campus.
These interviews are partnerships between your organization and the Career Management Center. By using the Kellogg on-campus system, you gain access to our interview rooms and amenities. The Career Management Team manages the communication and scheduling process for student applicants.
Welcome to on-campus interviews! On-campus interviews take place from mid-October to early November for those companies seeking to hire students in the graduating class for full-time roles. Internship on-campus interviews begin in mid-January and end in mid-February.
Requests for on-campus interview schedules begin the preceding May, along with the reservations for all on-campus recruiting activities. If you need assistance during the reservation process, do not hesitate to reach out to your CMC partner.
Each week of on-campus interviews constitutes an interview “Round” (not to be confused with a candidate progressing through a singular company’s rounds in the interview process). The Round in which your company’s on-campus interviews are scheduled will determine deadlines associated with your interviews.
Students will submit requests for an interview invitation through the online system. You will be able to view these requests through the Career Management System (CMS) for Employers. The system allows you to view, print and forward the cover letters and resumes of interested students.
Once you have selected the candidates you wish to invite, they can be marked as invited through the system, up to the number of slots you have available. The CMS will indicate how many slots you have based on the number of schedules, and length of interview. (See charts below.)

You can invite students who did not apply for your position. If you have seen a student's resume in the resume database or met a student at an event and find them to be a good fit for the position, you can search for them by last name in the CMS and add them to your invite list. After that, you can designate as many alternates as you like. This is something we highly recommend. Alternates will be in place to promote onto the schedule should any of your invited candidates decide to withdraw from the interviews. The system will notify all candidates whether they have been invited, added as an alternate, or not invited.
The Career Management Center will schedule students into interview times through the system. If you would like to make changes to the times on your schedule please reach out to your CMC contact before students have been slotted into times. Students have the ability to change timeslots with each other, or decline up until two business days before the interview.

The CMC is dedicated to helping your recruiting experience at Kellogg run smoothly. We have a few suggestions that should help you manage your schedules and interviews efficiently.
a month prior to on-campus interview dates:
Please confirm your recruiter's interview-day availability before submitting your interview invites. While it is very easy for us to make changes to your interview schedule times before that, it is difficult to do once the invitation process is over. Interview-time changes requested after students are in time slots can only be made by an Industry Relationship Manager with the student's consent. This is also a good time to confirm flight and hotel reservations for the recruiting team.
48 hours prior to interview date:
Two business days before your recruiting date, we will send you an email letting you know that your final schedules are ready to view/print through the online system. These will include the names, telephone numbers and email addresses of the students you will be meeting. It may also include the names of interested students who were unable to obtain an interview slot and are on the waitlist. The online system also allows you to view and print the resumes of the students on your schedule.
Day of interview:
Your recruiter will receive a packet containing this schedule (with any last-minute changes) and the corresponding resumes when they arrive on the scheduled interview day. The packet will also contain the resumes of students who were interested in your opportunity but were waitlisted.
Any changes to the final schedule(s) must be approved and executed by your Industry Relationship Manager in the Kellogg Career Management Center.
Last minute scheduling changes:
Should any emergency issues arise once your interview schedules are filled (travel cancellations due to inclement weather, recruiter illness, etc.), please contact your Industry Relationship Manager as soon as possible. Rather than cancelling your interviews, we may be able to offer options that will satisfy the needs of both your recruiters and the students.
The Career Management Center office is located on the second floor of the Kellogg Global Hub, 2211 Campus Drive in Evanston.
The Career Management Center opens at 7:30 a.m. during the on-campus interview season. Our standard interview schedules begin between 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. and finish between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Please plan to arrive at the Career Management Center at least 15 minutes in advance of your first scheduled interview.
Many of our rooms have windows, but in busy times we are unable to guarantee a window room will be available to all recruiters. Each room is equipped with pens, paper, tissues, hand sanitizer, a coat hanger, garbage and recycling bins, clock, and a speaker phone.
Kellogg interview rooms have wireless internet access for your computers. In the event of any technical issues, we have Ethernet cables available for your use.
