The U.S. Department of Justice recently announced a new incentive program to reward whistelblowers to report internal company antiturust violations in order to receive a percentage ( up to 30%) of the award/recovery of a successful anittrust suit. The first such reward ( of approximately $1 million) was awarded to January 2026 for the successful prosecution of a Sherman Act section 1 violation.
