Robert Levy, President & CEO, Centerline Capital Group

Robert LevyRobert L. Levy is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Centerline Capital Group (“Centerline”) and a member of the Board of Trustees of Centerline’s parent company, Centerline Holding Company.

Mr. Levy assumed the roles of President, CFO and Chief Operating Officer in 2010. In 2012 he turned over the CFO role to Michael Larsen. Under Rob’s leadership, the Company has more than tripled its Mortgage Banking originations volume. In addition, the Company recently closed a $120 million multi-investor LIHTC fund, and a $19 million proprietary LIHTC fund. Furthermore, he led the effort to rebuild Centerline’s Affordable Housing business by forming a distinct Affordable Housing Debt Group which originated $150 million of debt last year. Mr. Levy also established a separate entity in 2011 to focus exclusively on the Company’s Asset Management platform. He also extended the firm’s national reach to include three new offices, bringing the number of locations to 14.

Mr. Levy joined Centerline in 2001 as the Director of Capital Markets. From 1998 to 2001, he was a Vice President in the Real Estate Equity Research and Investment Banking departments at Robertson Stephens, an investment banking firm. Prior to 1998, Mr. Levy worked at Prudential Securities in the real estate equity research group and at the Prudential Realty Group, the real estate investment arm of the Prudential Insurance Company.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.
