Bruce Cohen serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of Wrightwood Capital. Mr. Cohen oversees the firm’s investment activities, portfolio management, new product development, and investor relations.
Mr. Cohen holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from Tufts University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Pension Real Estate Association, the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association and the Real Estate Roundtable, where he formerly served as the Co-Chair of the Real Estate Capital Policy Advisory Committee and Chair of the Research Committee. In addition, Mr. Cohen is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, and serves on the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, as well as on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Museum of Chicago.
Mr. Cohen has been a guest lecturer at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management, University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business, and Boston College. He has also been published in The Wall Street Journal, Commercial Property News, and the Real Estate Finance Journal.
