Henry Bullock, Chairman and Founder, Menlo Equities

Mr. Bullock is the Chairman and founder of Menlo Equities and focuses on strategic planning, investment selection and disposition, transaction underwriting and structuring, and capital markets.

Prior to founding Menlo Equities in 1994, Mr. Bullock was a Managing Partner at The Shidler Group, where he arranged and directed debt and equity financings exceeding $1 billion, including the initial public offering of First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR) and TriNet Corporate Realty Trust, Inc. (acquired by iStar Financial, Inc., NYSE: SFI). He was responsible for the acquisition of over 2 million square feet of property, which was contributed to First Industrial at its initial public offering. Mr. Bullock also supervised underwriting and liability management activity for The Shidler Group’s United States private holdings, which averaged approximately 20 million square feet.

Prior to The Shidler Group, Mr. Bullock directed the Northern California commercial mortgage banking operations of Security Pacific Corporation. Mr. Bullock was also a lender at Wells Fargo Bank’s Real Estate Industries Group, where he assisted in the start-up of its Silicon Valley construction lending office.

Mr. Bullock received his BA from Muskingum University, where he is currently serving as a trustee. He received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a council member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of the advisory board of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), where he serves as a past president of the Silicon Valley chapter board.
