Curt Bailey, President, Related Midwest

Frank CohenCurt R. Bailey is president of Related Midwest where he oversees new and existing development opportunities throughout the Midwest with a focus on Chicago. He leads a team of 60 talented architectural, planning and design, development, construction and professional services experts who are transforming the landscape of Chicago real estate. Bailey is responsible for a portfolio of luxury residential, mixed-use, and adaptive re-use properties valued in excess of $2 billion, including the visionary transformation of 111 West Wacker Drive, multiple condominium and rental properties that are redefining luxury living in Chicago and quality, affordable housing.

Mr. Bailey joined Related in 2008 with nearly 20 years of senior real estate experience having served as Senior Vice President at Duke Realty Corporation, where he sourced new development opportunities and oversaw nearly one billion in national projects. He also held executive development positions at Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs Company, and Opus North Corporation.

Mr. Bailey is an active member of several professional and charitable organizations both locally and nationally. He serves on the University of Colorado’s CU Real Estate Center National Advisory Board, the board of directors for the Ounce of Prevention Fund and the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association (GNMAA), is a member of the St. Ignatius College Prep Auxiliary Board, and a director at The French International School of Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
