Dan Rosenbloom joined Cadre in 2016 and is the chief investment officer and a member of the investment committee. In his capacity as CIO, Rosenbloom is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment strategy, as well as the sourcing, underwriting, structuring and managing of all aspects of private-market real estate equity investments. He has invested in both equity and debt capital across various product types and geographic locations. At Cadre, Rosenbloom has led the portfolio construction of over $5 billion worth of assets across multiple funds.
Prior to Cadre, Rosenbloom led the acquisitions team at GEM Realty Capital, where he spent 11 years. There, he was on the investment committee involved in setting investment strategy for GEM Realty Properties and GEM Realty Securities. At GEM, Rosenbloom completed acquisitions across the capital spectrum and in various real estate sectors. Prior to GEM, Rosenbloom was vice president at Fortress Investment Group, where he focused on acquisitions and originations of equity, mezzanine debt and other subordinate debt secured by real estate assets and operating companies. Prior to that, Rosenbloom worked in J.P. Morgan’s syndicate and leverage finance group, focusing primarily on the real estate industry, and at Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), assisting with asset and portfolio sales, asset level debt and equity placements and corporate finance transactions. Rosenbloom received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
