Trinita Logue

Trinita Logue is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of IFF (formerly Illinois Facilities Fund), a nonprofit community development financial institution. Logue conceptualized and created IFF while serving as Assistant Director of the Chicago Community Trust in 1988. At the time, IFF had assets of less than $2 million and Ms. Logue was the sole staff member.

Today, IFF is recognized as a leader in the development of innovative financial and real estate solutions for nonprofit organizations, including child care centers, health clinics and charter schools. Under the continuing leadership of Ms. Logue, its assets have grown to over $130 million and its 38-person staff provides loans and real estate finance, development and consulting to nonprofits in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin.

IFF also conducts research, sponsors educational programs, and has been a leading advocate on behalf of the nonprofit sector in Illinois and nationally.

Ms. Logue’s civic and professional affiliations currently include serving as a Director of First Nonprofit Trust Companies, a proprietary insurance company that provides coverage to nonprofit organizations in six states. She is also a Member of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management Public and Nonprofit Advisory Committee, a Director and Member of the Executive Committee of the Donors Forum of Chicago, a Member of the Attorney General’s Charitable Advisory Committee, a Member of the Governor’s Early Learning Council, and a Member of The Chicago Network. Ms. Logue also serves on the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank Community Development Advisory Council, and the Board of the New Markets Tax Credit Coalition.

Prior to joining the Chicago Community Trust as Assistant Director in 1986, Ms. Logue was the Director of the City of Chicago’s North Loop Theater District Project. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Arts Council of Jacksonville, Florida.
