Kim Taylor is a partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She concentrates her transactional practice in the private equity and mergers and acquisitions area. Kim serves as lead counsel to large buyout funds and private and public companies in a wide variety of transactions including leveraged buyouts, mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, recapitalizations, private equity investments (including start up investments), bank and mezzanine financings for mezzanine funds and private and public companies, corporate restructurings both in and out of bankruptcy and formations of private equity funds.
Kim serves on the management committee for the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis. She is the hiring partner for the New York office and was a co-founder of the Kirkland & Ellis Women’s Leadership Initiative.
