The
Part-Time Kellogg Experience
Leadership
Core Series
Students
new to the Part-Time MBA Program are immersed into some
of the basic concepts they will use throughout their
career and beyond as participants in Leadership Core
Series (LCS). Held on a Saturday during their first
two quarters, students participate in workshops, focusing
on teamwork and leadership. These highly interactive
sessions prepare new part-time students for the work
that lies ahead in future coursework and provide an
opportunity to create spirit of group cooperation and
teamwork. In addition, students get to know their classmates
well. The final segment of LCS is the class party at
the end of the quarter, planned for new students, by
new students. Click here for additional
information.
Professional
Development Series
Students
enrolled in the Part-Time MBA Program don't always have
the opportunity to further develop their professional
development skills, namely resume writing, interview
skills, self-assessment, etc. The Professional Development
Series will be offered in the fall and in the spring
and have been designed specifically for students in
the Part-Time MBA Program to provide you with a variety
of essential professional skills taught beyond the classroom.

Symposium on Managerial Leadership
This
leadership program, offered to all Kellogg part-time
students, intends to provide interactive workshops and
seminars for students to learn more about leadership
attributes and continue to develop their own leadership
qualities while at Kellogg through exposure to faculty,
business leaders and interactive workshops.

Colloquium
on Thought Leadership
Students
in the Part-Time MBA Program progress throughout our
curriculum at their own pace and completing the program
in 2.5 - 5 years, at the end of any given quarter. As
such, the Part-Time MBA Program has not had a real sense
of "class cohesion" among the graduating group
of students each spring. Colloquium on Thought Leadership
is part of the graduating class programming to build
a stronger sense of community and class among part-time
students who are in their last year of classes.
Each
month we will offer an academic session taught by one
of Kellogg's leading faculty members usually on a Friday
evening. These sessions are designed to be capstone
in nature, promoting what a Kellogg student should take
with them as they leave their academic career here.
