Robert C. Wolcott, Ph.D.
Founder & Executive Director of the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN)
Kellogg School of Management
Robert Wolcott is founder & executive director of the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN) and a member of the MBA and EMBA faculty of the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He teaches corporate innovation and entrepreneurship for Kellogg in Evanston, Miami and Hong Kong (with HKUST). In 2002 and 2005, he served as Visiting Professor at the Keio Business School (Tokyo, Japan). He is senior advisor to the Nordic Innovation Center, Nordic Council of Ministers, Oslo, Norway.
Wolcott’s two MIT Sloan articles have both been on MIT Sloan’s “Most Popular Articles” list since their publication in 2006 and 2007. He and Dr. Michael Lippitz are working on a book under contract with McGraw-Hill on the same subject for release Fall, 2009. Wolcott’s work has been published and featured in publications including Business Week, The Financial Times (UK/European Edition) and the New York Times.
In 2003, Wolcott founded the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN), a network of senior executives dedicated to driving sustainable innovation. Wolcott also co-founded and serves as Managing Partner of Clareo Partners LLC, a corporate strategy and innovation management consultancy specializing in new business creation and growth strategies.

Charles Glavin (KSM '93)

Charlie Glavin, CFA is an Executive-in-Residence for New Enterprise Associates, utilizing his 20+ years of experience in the investment and technology industries to consult on existing and potential portfolio companies in semiconductors, renewable energy, and wireless markets. He is an independent Director for Mirics Semiconductor, the Corporate Strategy Advisory for Luminary Micro and on the Advisory Board of Air Semi. After being recruited by NEA, Charlie spent two years working in Shanghai as the Chief Strategy Officer for Spreadtrum Communications, leading its successful IPO on NASDAQ, M&A work, and establishing the company’s first strategic / marketing processes. Prior to that, Charlie was a Managing Director at Needham & Company and Director of Research /Partner for ThinkEquity Partners. From 1997 to 2002, Charlie was the senior global semiconductor analyst for Credit Suisse, focused on the Communications-IC sector, where he compiled numerous industry awards, including a Top 3 analyst ranking for three consecutive years, 2000--2002 by Greenwich Associates, Reuters and Street.com/WSJ, plus Institutional Investor’s ‘Best Up-and-Coming’ Analyst in 2000. Immediately, following Kellogg, Charlie worked at Intel Corporation both as a Business Consultant in its flash memory division and as a Senior Product Marketing Engineer helping start Intel's Boxed Processor program in Asia. Prior to Kellogg, Charlie began his career as a trader and research associate for Fidelity Management & Research Company (1986-91). Charlie holds an MBA from the Northwestern University (Kellogg) and an Economics degree from Bucknell University.

Raj Shah (KSM '93)
Chief Marketing Officer

Raj Shah is a veteran business leader with more than two decades experience in the high-tech industry, ranging from start-ups and growth stage companies to Fortune 500 companies. Raj leads marketing and business development efforts for NComputing, a multinational growth-stage company. Prior to NComputing, Raj was the CMO of ClearCube Technology, the pioneer in PC blade computing systems. Raj was the co-founder of SiteStuff, a leading e-procurement service for commercial property management firms (acquired by Yardi Systems). He also served as VP of Marketing of pcOrder (acquired by Trilogy).
Raj was also a senior manager at McKinsey & Company, a leading management consulting firm. At McKinsey, Raj helped Fortune 500 clients in the technology, consumer goods, retail and manufacturing sectors improve their operations, marketing, and organizational effectiveness. Raj began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and GBC. Raj has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern) and a bachelor of science in Accounting.

Jason Heltzer
Principal
OCA Ventures
Jason Heltzer is a Principal with OCA Ventures and has been working at OCA since 2001. Jason has board responsibilities for Selero, Alert Logic, Univa UD and TradeKing. He also works with Brill Street.
Before OCA, Jason spent three and a half years as a technical architect for Deloitte Consulting. He also led engineering and business teams at 1stUp, a CMGI company that provided technology to 130 web properties.
Jason holds an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship, with high honors, from Chicago Booth, where he was selected as a Siebel Scholar. As an alumnus, Jason continues his involvement at Chicago Booth as a guest lecturer in the Private Equity Lab, judge in the New Venture Challenge and as a founder and board director of the Chicago Private Equity Network (CPEN).
Jason also holds a BS in computer science, with highest distinction, from the University of Michigan, where he founded a fraternity and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Kirk Wolfe
Principal
MK Capital
Kirk is a Principal at MK Capital, a $150 million venture capital fund with headquarters in Chicago and an office in Los Angeles. MK Capital invests in emerging companies that fall into the categories of digital media, application software, data center automation, technology enabled business services, and education technology. Kirk focuses on digital media opportunities and leads a number of the firm’s investments in online video infrastructure and content companies. He currently sits on the boards of Multicast Media, HealthiNation, and Kontiki. Prior to joining MK Capital, Kirk spent considerable time in management roles for leading technology companies, including co-founding an open source software business. He also served as a field operations executive at Ariba, Inc. - a global provider of Enterprise Spend Management solutions. As an early stage Ariba employee, Kirk was responsible for establishing and growing the field operations team. Before joining Ariba, he led the construction of the first business-to-consumer online store at Motorola, Inc. Earlier in his career, he worked at Accenture serving clients in the telecommunications sector. Kirk received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Stanford University.
