Key goals for 2009-2010
- Create a summary of the core courses for students after their first year. The document will be a means for students to refer back to key concepts introduced in the core as they continue in elective classes and beyond. - Develop standard information for CIM section leaders to share with incoming students to ensure objective and consistent dissemination of academic related information including waivers, bidding, classroom etiquette and so on. - Identify most useful courses among second years, faculty and alumni for specific career tracks to provide course recommendations to students. These recommendations will help students navigate the many elective courses at Kellogg and select courses that will be most beneficial to them in their careers. - Continue to promote the outstanding faculty at Kellogg who make an impact on students through Faculty Impact Awards. Monitor the success of the program and look to find new and easier ways for students to nominate a professor. - Foster communication between the Academic Vice Presidents of the professional clubs to share best practices and plan academic events at Kellogg. |
