We encourage you to to familiarize yourself with Kellogg facts before speaking with any media representatives.

Here are some other helpful hints:

  • Remember it is the “Kellogg School of Management
  • Do not make jokes -they can be misinterpreted.
  • Understand media ground rules:
    • Is this off the record?
    • Is this being taped?
  • If you are not prepared to be interviewed, you can reschedule and ALWAYS return reporter’s phone calls.
  • Focus on the positives.
  • Restrict your comments to topics which you can speak to with authority/a confident level of knowledge.
  • If at anytime you are uncomfortable dealing with the press, please contact Dean Honack immediately to avoid losing a PR opportunity for Kellogg.
