GIM South America 2008
Hola! Como vai?
This course offers students an opportunity to learn about non-U.S. business environments within an innovative and flexible framework that combines traditional classroom-based learning with structured in-country field research. The course is organized by student leaders under the guidance of a faculty adviser.

GIM Summer 2008 will explore a wide array of issues, from specific industries such as wine and mining, to broader social topics such the economics of addressing the needs of the poor, to the rise of Brazil as one of the dominant financial markets of the world in a relatively short amount of time. We will spend our trip visiting one of the largest cities in the world, Sao Paulo, absorbing the culture of Buenos Aires, exploring the wine country of western Argentina, and studying one of the wealthiest major cities on the continent, Santiago. In a short amount of time we will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of cultures, business industries, governments, languages, climates, and people.
