Kellogg VC Case Competition -The Kellogg VC competition is an annual event held in Fall quarter, which brings in real companies with real funding requirements. The competition is conducted over two rounds. Teams of 3-5 students act as VCs, conducting due diligence on the company and eventually presenting an investment recommendation including an investment thesis to the judges. Judges comprise industry experts, including VCs and entrepreneurs. Short-listed teams qualify for the final round and a chance at competing in the regional VCIC competition.
Kellogg Cup - The Kellogg Cup is Kellogg's Business Plan Competition, sponsored by SC Johnson. The goal of the Kellogg Cup Competition is to expand each student’s understanding of the dedication, skill and extreme hard work required in today's new venture process. Participants will learn about new venture creation through their work with faculty and mentors, team efforts and presentations to the judges.

Silicon Valley VC Trek - This annual trek comprising 10-12 students goes out to the Silicon Valley to meet with the VCs from various industry sectors and investment stages. The goal of this trek is for students get an understanding of the trends, challenges and opportunities in the area of Venture Capital directly from the VCs.

Venture Capital Speaker Series - Designed to provide a comprehensive education on the VC industry, this speaker series kicks off with VC 101 – an introductory lecture on Venture Capital. Thereafter, speakers from the industry (typically VCs), visit and speak on topics like deal sourcing, deal structuring, and portfolio management.

Breakfast Series with VCs - This open forum provides students with a chance to ask questions about the industry, career opportunities, skill-sets required in venture capital etc. |
