To reserve the McManus Lounge or Patio for a group function...

  • Check for availability
  • Download the request form. (deadline is 1 week prior to event)
  • Review the terms listed on the form (including the McManus Grill Policy, if necessary).
  • Complete the form and submit form via email to a student director
  • Submit deposit/fees as detailed on request form.

You will receive an email confirming your reservation.

  Storage @ McManus
  Shared storage space is available for residents. To reserve a space...
  • Review Storage Regulations.
  • Complete a Storage Contract at the McManus front desk and leave for Ian.

You will receive an email with your storage locker and combination.

Welcome to McManus!

When the Front Desk is open, please direct any request for assistance there. For URGENT matters (lock-outs, facilities issues, etc.) please contact the Student Director on Duty. Please do not contact after-hours for non-emergencies (i.e. package deliveries). For true emergencies, do not hesitate to call the University Police Emergency Line at 911.

The Student Director on Duty's name and contact information is posted on by the main elevators on the first floor and at the main entrance.

  Parking spots in the McManus garage are available to residents.
  Email Dean Fran Langewisch for more information.

 Visitors
  Most of the lots and metered spots around McManus are heavily enforced.
  The following options are available...

  • NU Lots. Most NU Lots do not require permits in the evenings and on weekends. Observe posted signs. Parking is allowed in the NU Lot on Clark St. (directly across from the back service alley) after 4pm and on weekends.
  • Hotel Orrington. Call for rates (847) 866-8700
  • Church Street Self-Park. (847) 328-4607
