About us

The mission of the Kellogg Gay and Lesbian Management Association is:

  • To facilitate and enhance current LBGT students' social, academic, and pre-professional experience at Kellogg
  • To increase and enhance the social capital of the entire network of LGBT Kellogg MBAs, (pre-MBAs, current students, and alumni) in the professional world
  • To facilitate understanding and acceptance of LGBT people in the post-MBA world by reaching out to the future leaders (our peers) now
  • To provide a supportive environment for fellow students questioning their sexuality

GLMA membership and meetings are open to all interested Kellogg students (gay and straight). Confidentiality is respected and observed for those desiring it. There are currently about 40 members in the club.

Join our ListServ:

Current students can join our listserv, ksa-glma . This is a blind listserv. If you register for the GLMA listserv, nobody will know that you are on it. Unlike other organizations, the GLMA listserv membership list is not available for viewing by anyone at the school. So if you're interested in finding out what the GLMA is up to but are worried about confidentiality, there's really no need to be stressed.

History of the GLMA

The GLMA has existed at Kellogg since 1992. Over its life, the GLMA has actively worked to improve the professional, academic, and social lives of LGBT Kellogg students, their friends, and allies. This page is an attempt to chronicle some of the club's achievements and leadership since the GLMA's inception.
