Career resources

Kellogg offers many recruiting and networking opportunities throughout the academic year. For EBC members looking for a job or internship in Europe, we have compiled the following resources which you may find useful.

Global Career Forum
The MBA 7 Schools Global Career Forum provides online access to companies that are not coming on campus. For the first time, the seven top MBA Programs joined forces to create a truly unique online event for recruiters to interact with and hire MBA students for summer internships or full-time opportunities. This event took place in April 2003 for the first time. We will notify you if it will be repeated again next year. You may check out the website at http://www.mba7gcf.com/home.asp to get a feel for its content and participating companies.

Reciprocity Agreements
Check out: http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/career/student/services/reciprocity.htm for reciprocity agreements with other schools in Europe and the US and the opportunities available. As a reference, Kellogg currently holds reciprocity agreements with the following European Business Schools:
Erasmus University - Rotterdam School of Management,The Netherlands
HEC School of Management - Jouy en Josas, France
ESE University of Navarra - Barcelona, Spain
IMD - Lausanne, Switzerland
INSEAD - Fontainebleau Cedex, France
London Business School - London, England
Manchester Business School - Manchester, England

KCN
Check the Kellogg Career Network regularly for job postings: https://www1.kellogg.northwestern.edu/kcn/main.asp
We will also be scanning for European jobs regularly and sending out emails to the listserv when such postings arise.
Most importantly, you should be aware of the career bidding and deadlines located at http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/career/student/recruiting/bid_system.htm

The CMC (Career Management Center) offers many resources, both for on campus and off campus recruiting. Workshops and Events are also regularly scheduled during the recruitment period. You can access the CMC resources at: http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/career/student/index.htm
The Career Resource Center also offers helpful hints and resources for recruiting: http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/career/student/resources/resource.htm

Resume Referral Program
The Resume Referral Program (RRP) occurs during the Spring Quarter and is designed to match the student's preferences with jobs and internships that are not posted on the Kellogg Career Network, as well as some jobs that are posted. http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/career/student/services/resume_referral.htm
You should contact: michael.schaefer@kellogg.northwestern.edu for more info.

Kellogg is committed to adding top tier European companies to its list of recruiters. This is an ongoing effort and we are grateful to the CMC for their effort. Should you have contacts in particular companies in Europe which you believe could be interested in recruiting at Kellogg, please contact the EBC committee corporate chair.
