Welcome to the Kellogg Chess Club! Here you will find a community of chess players from all backgrounds and abilities, united by a desire to play or learn to play chess. We aim to meet the demands of experienced chess players and newcomers to chess alike.
Contact us to see how you can become involved in the Chess Club. We promote events such as the annual Master Simul in conjunction with the NU undergraduate chess club, 64 Squares. For this event we invite a Chess Master to play 10 to 15 simultaneous games of chess against Kellogg and other NU students in the Kellogg Atrium. Last year's master won a respectable 12 games against 2 draws and no losses.
We get together weekly to relax and play chess in a casual environment. Stay tuned to the Chess Club listserv (select "ksa-chess" to sign up) for announcements of time and place!
