Chinese Business Club Last Week Recap

Upcoming Events

 

The CBC had a great kick-off during the first week.

 

-  The application deadline for Investment Banking Hong Kong Trek leader will be the end of Friday, October 12.  Please complete the attached form and send back to DONG LI (dli2008@kellogg.northwestern.edu ) on time.  The IBCM, CBC and AMA leadership teams will announce the selection results early next week. Application attached.

 

-  The application deadline for China Beijing/Shanghai trek leader will be the end of Friday, October 12.  Please complete the attached application form and send back to DONG LI (dli2008@kellogg.northwestern.edu ) on time.  The CBC leadership team will announce the selection results early next week. Friday, Oct. 12th

Event: AMA Career Panel

Place: Jacobs G42

Time: 12:15pm – 13:15pm

Speaker: Professor Alexander Chernev

Description: AMA is hosting a career panel (Banking, Marketing, Consulting, High-Tech, and Biotech) for 1st year members.  Students will gain a better understanding of key issues like what recruiters are looking for, how to prepare for interviews, what to expect from the internship, and challenges unique to international students.

 

Saturday, Oct. 13th

Event: KSA Tailgate Act 2 - NU vs. Minnesota

Place: Ryan Field’s East Parking Lot.  This is an easy walk from the Central St purple line stop.  Note: We are in a new location this year.  Look for the Kellogg banner and see the map attached (similar location for those that made it out for the first tailgate).

Time: 8:30am. Kickoff at 11am

Description: THE KSA INVITES YOU TO COME SEE YOUR NU WILDCATS TAKE ON THE MINNESOTA GOLDEN GOPHERS THIS SATURDAY! FREE keg beer, grilled encased meats and other traditional tailgate delicacies.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 17th

Event: A brunch-talk on “Leadership & Diversity”

Place: Va Pensiero, 1566 Oak Ave, Evanston

Time: 10:00am – 12:30 p.m.
