Terms and Conditions
Underground Parking is a privilege that is regulated by the following terms and conditions:

  • Parking may not be granted to persons not living in Engelhart, unless said persons work for or are otherwise contracted by Northwestern University, and for whom parking is necessary for the fulfillment of their employment.
  • Parking may not be granted to persons who do not provide a valid registration form and a valid insurance card. Nor will parking privileges extend to persons who do not possess a valid drivers’ license.
  • Parking contracts extend to the 16th of June every year. Parking may not be granted on either a month-to-month or a quarterly basis.
  • Parking contracts forbid contract holders from using parking stalls not assigned to their vehicle.
  • Parking fees are prorated and applied to the contract holder’s student account.
  • A vehicle that remains in the parking facility for 90 days after its parking contract has expired may be considered abandoned and may be towed from the premises at the owner’s expense.
  • Failure to observe traffic regulations in the parking facility may result in the revocation of parking privileges.
  • In the event that a vehicle must be towed from the premises, the vehicle’s owner may be responsible for all towing and storing charges.

Parking privileges may be revoked for a failure to observe the aforementioned terms and conditions, or by the discretion of Office of Residential Services. Refunds may not be granted in the event that parking privileges are revoked for a contract holder’s failure to uphold the aforementioned terms and conditions.

By entering my name below, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to these terms.
