Sometimes a company will offer to donate alcohol to your event (either for a tasting, or larger. Please note that you should never solicit companies for donations of alcohol
. No tax credit will be given for donations that serve as marketing for the donating company.
As all alcohol must be brought into the building and served by licensed bartenders, your group will need to hire one of our pre-contracted vendors
(Service is Us or Food for Thought) to provide bartenders.
Here are the steps to set this up:
Select the vendor from our list that will be providing the bartenders, and work with them to reserve the time.
Fill out and submit an Event Planning Form, along with any documents or contracts that require a signature to firstname.lastname@example.org
for event approval. Be sure to include the name of the donating company, as well as the name of the company that you have hired to supply the bartenders.
Once approval is granted, connect your contact at the donating company to your contact at the company providing the bartenders for delivery. The donating company must arrange the delivery or hand-off of the
alcohol to company supplying the bartenders as only licensed bartenders are permitted to bring alcohol into the building.
