WORLD TRADE ANALYZERContentsAvailabilityKellogg has acquired a stand-alone license of the World Trade Analyzer 1985-2001 CD. This database has a Microsoft Windows data extraction interface. Current Kellogg faculty and doctoral students may access these data at a workstation in the Research Computing library (Jacobs, room 4219). All other Northwestern users may access the copy available in the Government Publications and Maps Department of the Northwestern University Libraries. DescriptionThe World Trade Analyzer (WTA) is a CD-ROM which contains adjusted United Nations commodity trade data. The data is in a time series covering the period 1985 to 2001. The WTA contains data on more than 800 commodities based on the Standard International Trade Classification Revision 2, covering approximately 180 world trading partners. The database has a Windows-based data extraction software which allows downloading selections to a spreadsheet.
