| Kellogg's
Center for Research on Strategic Alliances, directed by Professor
Ed Zajac, is a new teaching and research center that began
in 2002. The center is the only academic research center in
the United States focused solely on the impact of strategic
alliances in both business and academia.
Our
Mission
Increasingly, organizations
in virtually all sectors of the economy are using cooperative
relationships with other organizations as an essential tool
for achieving their strategic objectives. However, successful
strategic alliances are often difficult to achieve. This new
research center, led by Ed Zajac, is devoted to furthering
our understanding of how to better create and manage such
strategic alliances. The center will achieve this objective
by promoting and supporting cutting-edge research, organizing
seminars and workshops for academic and executive audiences,
and establishing an ongoing relationship with thought leaders
in this area.
