Professor Gad Allon Wins the Chairs’ Core Course Teaching Award
Professor Gad Allon won the Chairs’ Core Course Teaching Award for his teaching of OPNS 430, the core Operations Management class. Awarded by the Department and Program Chairs, the award recognizes teaching excellence in each of the Kellogg School’s nine core classes. Allon is an Assistant Professor of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences at the Kellogg School of Northwestern University. Allon joined Kellogg in 2005 and teaches the core operations management course, as well as a doctoral course on operations economics. He is currently responsible for organizing the Center for Operations and Supply Chain Management’s research seminar series. His paper entitled “Competition in Service Industries” was published earlier this year in Operations Research. |
