Raising
funds and telling your story are important activities
for today’s schools. No matter what their funding
structure, all schools spend more on their children
than they receive in tuition. And, in today’s
increasing competitive marketplace, schools need to
promote their unique educational philosophy and programs.
This program is specifically designed for school leaders
(principals, assistant principals, superintendents,
board members and others integral to the school’s
external relationships) who want to learn how to understand
their audiences and identify ways to involve donors,
volunteers, community and business leaders leading to
increased financial support, broader awareness of the
unique features of the school and stronger community
engagement.
What
will participants learn?
- To
understand the various audiences connected to their
schools and how to attract their involvement
-
How to define their brand image and promote the positive
aspects of the brand
-
What fundraising strategies are successful for schools
in their appeals to individual, corporate and foundation
donors
