High-performing boards are essential to the success of nonprofit organizations. One of a leader’s critical challenges is building and motivating boards that perform in an exceptional manner. This executive education program will challenge senior staff and board members to confront how their boards and organizations measure up and how to apply new frameworks which can serve as keys to success. Bringing together national experts in governance with Kellogg School faculty, this one day program will highlight the essentials of transformative governance for nonprofit organizations. We are delighted to have Marty Evans, former CEO of the Red Cross and Susan Meier of BoardSource joining us as presenters for this program.
The world is becoming more competitive nowhere more so than in the nonprofit sector. Nonprofit boards need to commit themselves to change to meet the changing landscape of governance. In this program, board and staff members will confront the new trends in nonprofit governance and the calls for accountability and transparency. The program will underscore the importance of vision and mission and provide cutting edge responses for the participants.
Because of the unique nature of this program, a special 2 for 1 tuition offer is available to organizations enabling them to send a senior staff member and a board member. (Scholarship assistance is also available for individuals.)
