The GIB fits in 2% of a small farmers land, uses 90% less water and protects crops from environmental risks, helping farmers earn a steady dependable income of $100/month. Along with the greenhouse, Kheyti offers farmers input, financing, advisory and market linkage services to ensure them a seamless path out of poverty.

Finch | Finch is the only inspiration fashion app that uses tags and machine learning to provide the user with a browsable feed of fashion items and outfits predetermined to fit the users' exact shape and style. Maven | Maven is revamping the bra industry through a private and more personalized bra shopping experience. The experience today is awkward and inconvenient and as a result 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. Maven guides customers through an at-home measurement system and style quiz to help determine their best predicted fit and then curates a box of bras for them to try on at home. By helping women find their best fitting bra, our service is empowering women to have a more comfortable and confident lifestyle.

Flyhomes ActiWit | 1 in 3 American adults have hypertension and more surprisingly, drug treatments don't work for 20%-30% of them, increasing their risk of heart and kidney diseases. Certain forms of meditation are scientifically proven to reduce blood pressure. Our mission is to help these drug resistant hypertention patients meditate effectively by providing personalized real-time audio or video instructions that guide the meditation session based on the brain’s electrical activity.

BetterHealth | BetterHealth reduces side-effects and increases treatment effectiveness through personalization of medication type and dosage, by allowing patients and doctors to make data-driven decisions. We focus on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) patients, mainly youth and children, because treatment with these medications can include significant side effects with varying impact. We aim to optimize patients’ treatment through a platform (app) that assists patients in tracking their medication dosage, health condition and side-effects on a regular basis, and sharing this information automatically with their doctor.

Actualize Therapy | Actualize Therapy is creating a tech-enabled health service that combines principles of computerized cognitive behavioral therapy with treatment oversight by a qualified coach in order to provide care for people with depression or generalized anxiety. Our aim is to increase treatment options for people seeking better mental health, especially for those who don't receive sought after in-person therapy due to issues of therapist-shortage, cost, or stigma. In doing so, we believe we can lower system-wide health costs by decreasing both readmission rates and incidence of physical health issues that present comorbid with mental health ones.

Flyhomes PrediCare | Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is the second most expensive chronic disease in the US. In the last years revolutionary therapies have been launched to improve the quality of life of the patients… but in MS, every person evolves differently and we are not able to consistently predict their prognosis. PrediCare wants to be the first company of precision health for MS that effectively predicts the evolution of a patient to adapt the therapy accordingly, increasing efficacy and improving the quality of life of more than 2.5 million people living with MS in the World.

Ayu is exploring financing alternatives for a search fund or family fund. She plans to acquire a business after graduation. Her ideal acquisition would be a B2B company that serves basic human needs by providing tangible products, possibly sourced from Indonesia or China, where Ayu spent her entire pre-Kellogg career.


Blair Kessler ’17 1YMBA
Passionate about the U.S. healthcare system, Blair hopes eventually to own and operate a middle market services business within the healthcare sector. He is forming a search fund or similar investment vehicle and focusing his search on U.S.-based businesses with EBITDA between $0.5M to $4M and healthy mixes of customers.

The entrepreneurial path is very personal to Matt, whose family has owned/run small businesses for at least five generations. Ashish wants to learn to leverage his entrepreneurial experience for entrepreneurship through acquisition, and to receive mentorship and support for leading and scaling ventures to high growth. His love of entrepreneurship led him to launch what became India’s largest e-commerce company in the used books segment. He hopes to be more involved in growth and scaling of startups post-Kellogg.

Shaun’s post-Kellogg career plans include working as a small cap generalist analyst for a mutual fund and, in the future, launching a search fund and acquiring a small business related to financial services, media, pets or aerospace. He also has considered trying to launch a startup related to changing trends in third-party investment research.

Ray’s future plans include searching for a healthcare, energy, or BPO service company to acquire, scale and manage. He is especially interested in learning about how small-business owners handle challenges. He is a founding member of Arborview Capital, a PE firm focused on growth equity investments in the cleantech and energy efficiency sectors.

New Hope Ecotech’s software tracks recycling activity and guarantees that mandatory recycling has been met by issuing a reverse logistics certification. The profits from these certificates are then distributed back down the links of the chain – recyclers, aggregators, etc. – until they reach the very waste pickers who collected the materials. By increasing the income of the urban poor and decreasing the economic costs for manufacturers, we can transform Brazil’s recycling future into an industry of hope.

(Innoblative), is a medical device company whose mission is to develop products to innovate and improve the way surgeons treat surgical margins post-excision. Our first product is a disposable radiofrequency ablation (RFA) probe that allows surgeons to effectively coagulate and ablate soft tissue beds intra-operatively. The initial market focus for this product is early stage breast cancer patients who would otherwise undergo breast conservation therapy (BCT) – removal of the tumor (lumpectomy), followed by radiation therapy (RT). Our product uses radiofrequency energy to treat surgical margins and effectively kill residual cancer, aiming to reduce the need for repeat operations and eliminate the need for RT.
