Research Mission

Research is the foundation of the work of the Heizer Center for Private Equity and Venture Capital. The Center is based in the Finance department but is affiliated with other research groups inside Kellogg. As part of our mission to create and disseminate knowledge about financial markets and the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry, we fund research by Kellogg faculty.

  • Finance Seminar. The Finance Seminar meets on Wednesdays during the school year. In the winter quarter, most seminars are recruiting seminars and are not always on Wednesdays.
  • Entrepreneurship Seminar. The Entrepreneurship seminar is run jointly with the Finance department and the Management and Strategy department.
  • Finance Bag Lunches These lunch time talks are more informal. They are research presentations of work in progress by both Kellogg faculty, PhD students, or faculty from other institutions.
  • Faculty Research. You can access faculty's research directly by looking up their names in the directory.
