GHI is working with the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at Makerere University to conduct an economic evaluation of three proposed multi-pathogen diagnostic testing technologies.
CHS is a leading institution in the East and Central African Region with 23 departments offering bachelor’s degrees in Medicine, Surgery, Nursing, Dentistry and Pharmacy. CHS has a number of successful collaborations with health professionals’ training institutions in the region and in five continents.

GHI is working with MUST to conduct an economic evaluation of three proposed multi-pathogen diagnostic testing technologies
Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) was founded in 1989 and is the second public university in Uganda after Makerere University. Currently the University has Faculties of Medicine, Science Education, Development Studies and Computer Science. The medical school awards degrees in Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology and Pharmacy. The Department of Community Health under the Faculty of Medicine offers courses in Community Health related subjects to students in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Technology. The Department has recently started a Masters of Public Health (MPH) course aimed at training health professionals in Uganda and the region to address the current challenges of public health.
