Negotiation Research & Teaching Certificate Program

International Applicants

All courses will be taught in English. Non-native speakers must provide proof of proficiency in any of the following forms:

  • Official scores for either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The test must have been taken not earlier than September 2007.

    To be considered for admission, applicants must score 600 or higher (paper-based exam), 250 or higher (computer-based exam), or 100 or higher (Internet-based exam) on the TOEFL. Use TOEFL institution number 1565. IELTS test takers should score 7.0 or higher.

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year institution or equivalent where the language of instruction is English.

  • A graduate degree from an accredited institution where the language of instruction is English.

The Kellogg School will facilitate international participants’ applications for the J-1 visa. More information for international participants is available on the Northwestern University International Office Web site.
