(This will help me getting to know you and learn about your experiences.) We will discuss Swiss Watch Industry in class with an emphasis on the following: 1. How would you contrast the operations strategy of the traditional Swiss watch company with that of Seiko? What are the key elements that comprise an operations strategy? 2. What information would you need, and how would you obtain it, before designing a “survival strategy” for the Swiss’ watch industry? 3. How would you formulate and describe a new operations strategy for the Swiss watch industry?
