T. Bondurant French '76
CEO, Adams Street Partners

Bon is the CEO of Adams Street Partners, a global private equity investment management firm located in Chicago. He actively participates as an investment professional and is responsible for managing relationships with several of Adams Street's managers including Accel Partners, Austin Ventures, Madison Dearborn Partners and New Enterprise Associates. He is sought out by private equity firms, consultants and investors for advice and recommendations on a variety of private equity topics. Bon has been with Adams Street Partners and its predecessor organizations since 1980 and has been instrumental in the development of its private equity investment strategies, fund management and client service.

Bon has been a guest lecturer to business schools, Wall Street firms, private equity conferences and industry trade associations about various investment topics and strategies. He was a member of the CFA Institute Committee (formerly AIMR – the Association for Investment Management and Research), which made recommendations concerning standards for reporting performance in private equity. Bon was also a contributor to the ICFA's first book on the subject of private market investments, Investing in Venture Capital (1988).

Peter Barris
Managing General Partner, New Enterprise Associates

Peter is the Managing General Partner of New Enterprise Associates, an international venture capital firm. Over the last 12 years, New Enterprise Associates's assets under management have grown ten-fold to over $11B and the firm has expanded its operations to India and China. Under Peter's leadership, NEA has invested in industry-transforming technology companies like CareerBuilder, Data Domain, Diapers.com, Groupon, Juniper Networks, Macromedia, Playdom, Salesforce.com, and TiVo. Peter has been named to the Forbes Midas List several times, having personally led investments in over two dozen technology companies that have successfully completed public offerings or mergers. Peter is currently a director of several private companies including Groupon, Hillcrest, JobFox, MediaBank, SnagFilms, and Sprout Social. He also serves on the board of public companies Echo Global Logistics (ECHO), InnerWorkings (INWK), Neutral Tandem (TNDM), and Vonage (VG).

Prior to joining NEA, Peter was President and Chief Operating Officer of Legent Corporation (LGNT) and Senior Vice President of the Systems Software Division of UCCEL Corporation (UCE). Both companies were ultimately acquired at valuations that were record breaking for their time. Earlier, Peter spent almost a decade at General Electric Company in a variety of management positions, including Vice President and General Manager at GE Information Services. Outside interests include serving on the Northwestern ISEN Steering Committee and the Board of the Tuck School Private Equity and Entrepreneur Center. Peter previously served on the Executive Committee of the Board of the National Venture Capital Association and was also a founding member of Venture Philanthropy Partners, a philanthropic organization in the Washington D.C. area.
