Requirements
Browser
and resolution settings
Your computer must have Microsoft Internet Explorer
6.0 SP1 or later, Netscape Navigator 7.1 or later, or
Apple Safari 1.0 or later.
Set your browser to enable cookies and scripting. Refer
to your browser's help menu.
For best results, set your screen resolution to 1024x768.
Your minimum screen resolution must be 800x600.
Connecting
from offices with Internet firewalls
If
you are unable to log into the registration system from
work and get an error stating the server did not respond
or the address could not be found, your company has
likely placed a firewall between you and the Internet.
Firewalls are security measures which may limit the
network ports you can access. If your firewall is blocking
port 443 (required for Secure Socket Layer access, which
provides encrypted authentication), you will not be
able to access the registration system. Consult your
office's IT department if you have questions about how
the firewall is configured.

a corporate firewall is blocking access to the registration
system, you can either dial in to the Northwestern network
from home (click here
for instructions on configuring dial-up access) or register
from a public computer. For information on Kellogg computer

Important
Security and Usage Information
You
MUST use your NetID and password to register for class.
If you do not have this information, you will NOT be
able to register. You may obtain a temporary password
through Allyson Grey in the Part-Time MBA Program office,
on 2M of Wieboldt Hall. She may be reached at (312)

Because your NetID password expires every 120 days,
you have the option of changing your password now to
make certain that it does not expire after you register.

Registration
Problems (Systemic)
Problems or questions with registration should be reported
via email to the Part-Time MBA Program Registrar, Sarah
Francis. If you call, please make sure to leave a call
back number.
Protecting
Your Account
In order to keep your account and class registration
secure, you must EXIT Internet Explorer or Netscape
completely after registering. This is especially important
on public computers. If you do not close your web browser,
you are still logged into the registration system and
the next person who uses the computer could access your
account.
