"Before my Kellogg experience, my restaurant business partner and I sat down and wondered how we would finance our growing business. The topic of venture capital came up, and neither of us knew a thing about it. A few useless Google searches and a couple of boring books later, I decided it was time to learn about it from the best"

Curriculum and Majors

Evening students have a flexible MBA curriculum. After completing the 9.5 core courses that serve as a foundation leading to the majors, evening students chart the remaining half of their MBA curriculum. This provides them the opportunity to combine fields of study within the degree and personalize their education.

Almost all Kellogg students complete an MBA with at least two majors. Evening MBA students can select majors from all the available fields of study at Kellogg. This combination of majors can be within academic fields, professional programs or interdisciplinary majors. For example, a student in the consulting field might major in Finance, Management & Strategy, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation; a student interested in nonprofit management might major in Social Enterprise, and Marketing & Finance; while a student working in banking might opt for Finance, Management & Strategy, and International Business & Markets.

Degree Enhancement Program
Inherent in the Kellogg School philosophy is the belief that education and professional development are part of a lifelong learning process that does not end when students graduate. To foster that concept, Kellogg developed the Degree Enhancement Program.

The Degree Enhancement Program allows recent graduates of the part-time program to register for up to three courses during the academic year following their graduation - without any tuition charge for the additional courses. In addition to augmenting their educational and professional development after graduation, this program allows recent graduates the opportunity to supplement their Kellogg MBA with additional majors or classes within an area of personal or professional interest.
