FALLS CHURCH Va. (AP) - Defense Contractor General Dynamics Corp. said Wednesday it named Deborah Lucas to its board and appointed her to serve on its audit committee and its benefit plans and investment committee.

Lucas is a professor of finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and serves as a director of the American Finance Association.
