More than 300 alumni, faculty and students gathered at the Field Museum to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kellogg’s One-Year MBA Program. The program was the first-of-its-kind in the United States when it debuted. Since its launch, the program has prepared more then 3,500 graduates for their careers through a flexible curriculum, world-class faculty and a supportive network.
The ceremony included remarks from featured speaker Bob Eckert '77, Chairman Emeritus of Mattel, Inc., Dean Sally Blount ’92, and Alex Bourdeau ’15, president of the One-Year Kellogg Student Association.
In praising the program, Eckert said the 12-month program’s benefits extended way past a great return on investment.
“[Kellogg is] a special place, and we’re a special group within that special place,” he said of the One-Year Program. “We worked hard and we continue to do so.”
